Other than the 70s black paint job, the bike had perfect patina. Guys are building cars to emulate their favorite styles and/or specific cars from the 50's or 60's,that over the course of 50 or 60 yrs,have become pretty rough around the edges to one degree or another. Seeing all of his nice original paint really excited my father and me, and we always wondered what the paint looked like underneath the cheap orange-peeled black paint.
