you will see a scroll box with a arror on its side just below this checkbox, click the box and select WINDOWS 98/WINDOWS ME. (if it is grey then click change settings for all users, may prompt you for admin privilages if so hit yes or ok.) Click the check box that says run this program in compatibility mode for. Click the compatibility tab, then you will see compatibility mode. Select sudeki.exe (if not displayed it will say sudeki and its type is application.) and then right click it and select properties again. Go over to local files and browse your local files. Ok i know how to fix your save issue, Go into your library, find sudeki, right click it and select properties. Yeah I know that, but I'm not going to keep playing the game over and over and over and over because of a save issue, i'm willing to re-try it a few times but i'm not going to be too leniant with a game that isn't fully ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Pupze grump just because this game has that issue an forces u to restart shouldn't be given a bad game just means you can go back and do stuff you missed easier then you can from a previous save, plus most likely though the game will let you continue where you left off. Tick the “Run this program in compability mode for” box Individually select the executable files and right-click on them, selecting properties It only does it one time and then you should be able to run that game in the future without having to install that stuff again. It is important not to cancel those steps in the games that require them. This one doesn't seem to run automatically. Nearly every game uses a different build of those files and usually they install automatically when you first run the game. That will install the prerequisite directX version and Visual C versions that this game uses. In "vcredist" > "2010" folder run either the vcredist_圆4 or vcredist_x86 (I think depending on Win 7 64 bit or 32 bit but I would just run the vcredist_x86 application). Run the DXSETUP in the "directX" > "Jun2010" folder. Go into "_commonRedist" and there is a "directX" and "vcredist" folder inside that. Right click the game > properties > local files > browse local files. For the time being I'll leave the details of those workarounds below, just in case they prove useful to anyone: The only difference between the main build and Beta build is the bug fix for the black screen issue.īefore the above fix was provided, the community provided workaround solutions. We've noticed it will occasionally need to launch the game, quit out and it will then force through the update. If you then launch the game from your library, it should force the update. To access the beta, please follow these steps:ġ) In your Steam client, go to the Library and right click on SudekiĤ) Choose Beta for the Beta branch (if you want to opt out or revert back to the main release version, select "NONE") that still represents a very small subset of the myriad components, drivers and Window's versions that exist on everyone's PC's - so we'd like to make sure you are happy before we migrate this to the main build. While we've tested this on our office PC's, personal PC's, friends PC's etc. If you have been affected by the black screen bug it would be great if you could try this and report back. We have created a BETA build that everyone has access to. We will then have a member of the dev team look into the issue and report back.ĮDIT: Am copying the below post here for convenience: A detailed description of what happens - both the proceeding steps and the result Your PC Specifications (this can be obtained by typing "dxdiag" into the run prompt) If you are having problems running the game, please provide the following information:
